It was cold, and the leaves all a gorgeous golden hue. Nearly sunset, the peacefulness of the park was filled with the feelings of love and happiness of a couple celebrating the next part of their journey together. The gentle sound of the waves was peaceful as we walked and chatted and jokes as the sky turned from light blue to a golden pink. Amber and Katie are an adorable couple, who where just a little shy to start with. Being able to sit and take in the peace of the river, and wandering hand-in-hand brought out so many tender moments that I still smile remembering the session.
Sleepy Hole Park is a hidden gem filled with romantic spots such as the hidden beach and small covered bridge – perfect for sharing tender moments with the love of your life. It was the perfect spot for these two tender souls who are very private with their affections.
Love can be shown in many ways. As simple as the way you look into someones eyes or as heartwarming and a soft kiss filled with the whispered promise of a future of joy and wonder. My favorite shot came at the end of the session as we where packing up to leave the park – just walking with the pink and gold tones of a brilliant sunset framed over the autumn tree-line.
