Update Your Business without Breaking the Bank
With a lot of creatives spending time at home and shifting their focus to different aspects of their business – I wanted to take the time to reach out and offer some options to help.
You don’t have to do everything for your business all by yourself. Take time to focus on what you CAN do during this time, as well as tasks you want to do, but need help with.
And that is where I can help!
I have a couple packages that are geared directly to a creative looking to change or update their look, their brand and their website – but on a budget. So to help showcase these options, I wanted to share that you can make check off items on your list without breaking the bank.
What is a Brand Refresh?
Generally speaking a branding refresh is a strategic way to ensure that a brand is keeping pace with current marketplace trends or it’s client base. Sometimes tweaks and changes can reflect a shift in the company’s direction for forward facing marketing, or be a direct result of the overall shift in general perception of a brand.
What is Template Customization?
When you sign up for most online website platforms, they will offer you the option to select a template to customize, as well as starting from scratch.
A website template is a fast way to design the overall layout of your site, quickly. All you would need to add is your own text, images and any additional items you wanted to personalize it. A lot of platforms have the option for you to select a free template to start your design from.
Depending on the platform, you can also purchase a designed template if you do not find one you like, either on their online shop or through a third-party option.
Templates are fast ways to set-up your online presence! When you are selecting a template, you need to look out the layout and pages included. The colors, fonts and personal touches are added after. You are able to see it fully built as a preview as a desktop and mobile view to see just how it will look for your clients. Then once you have the template selected, it is just a matter of adding in all your personal details and images.
Templates are like a fill in the blank form. Instead of stressing over the layout, and what goes where and how it will look – templates provide an easy step-by-step process for inserting information. All you have to do is fill it in, much like a form or quiz.
*I highly recommend a Template if you need a quickly built site without all the time spent over design decisions.* It is my experience that for someone who simply looks at something, and goes, I like that – this is the easiest way to start your own website. As your business grows, you may decide to make alterations and changes, but to start off, a template may be best.
What is a Website Revamp?
Look at your website, and think of all the things you need to edit to fit your current business focus and prospective clients? A website revamp is the best option for a business owner, whose mission or focus has evolved over time to be more specific or branch off.
Much like a brand refresh, this process is like a surgical procedure that will look at the parts of your site that need to be tailor to fit the needs of your clients and your services. This may entail creating new layouts for parts of your site, as well as potentially add new colors, fonts or pages to your site.
If any of these options are something you would love to chat with me more about, feel free to contact me or comment below.
So much of a brand is telling the story of the services and products you offer your clients. Telling that story and bringing the heart of the owner to life is a passion of mine. I always have time to chat with people about their business, even if it just to see where they could improve – in a free consultation!
